TAJIR WILLIAMS SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Honoring Tajir Williams by investing in the future, one scholarship at a time.

Turning Dreams into Reality

The Tajir Williams Scholarship Fund was established in loving memory of my son Tajir, who passed away from a Fentanyl overdose the day after his 21st birthday. This scholarship is not only a way to honor Tajir, but also an opportunity to empower the next generation through education. By providing financial support to deserving students, we're investing in a brighter future for our community. Last year, we were able to award a total of $5,000 to two deserving scholarship winners: Kaylene Rigsby, a freshman at Howard University, and Charles Welch, a freshman at the University of North Carolina, who each received a $2,500 scholarship award. We're now thrilled to announce the kickoff of our fundraiser for the Tajir Williams Scholarship Fund.

Our scholarship registration will begin on May 15th, and we want to express our gratitude in advance to everyone who contributes towards the scholarship fund and helps us bring awareness to the dangers of Fentanyl. With your support, we can continue to award scholarships to deserving students and make a positive impact on the community. We couldn't do this without you!

Scholarship Update: I’m pleased to announce our winners of the Tajir Williams Scholarship Fund for 2023. Congratulations to Jayden Turner, a graduate of Patriot High School. Jayden graduated with a 3.8 GPA. Jayden will be attending Christopher Newport University in the Fall. Our second scholarship winner is Justin Edwards, homecoming king, star athlete, and graduate of Lake Taylor High School. Justin will be attending Lackawanna College in the fall. Both students will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to assist with their college expenses. Please help me in congratulating both students. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our scholarship program. Your donation has made our scholarship program possible!
